Shot in April 2007 for the Wide Angle exhibition in Cork. I lost count of the number of times I'd been up and down to James fort trying to achieve this photograph - I'd estimate I spent over 50 hours working on this single photograph.

Visiting the Marina daily in March, finally a calm sunny day without many yachts moored against the outside walkway - Impossible to achieve this photograph in the busy summer.

9.48pm May 30th 2007. After completing the first Kinsale planet KP1, this planet shot from the same location was really just a case of waiting for a great colourful sunset. On my third chilly evening of possibly good sunsets, up by James fort, watching and waiting, I was finally rewarded with this stunner. Some people question the colours I achieve in my photography but the answer is simple:- if you too get up early and stay out late you'll see the same amazing things I do.
